Well, for one, I would not continue arguing with someone due to their opinions of you. Who are they to you? Probably no one in particular.
I don't really get harassed for my atheism, ever. Does the bible say anything about vengeance or death is OK as long as it's justified?
Boy, he sounds straight out of the middle ages! And we're the bad guys! Where's his understanding and compassion? He's definitely been hurt by someone/something to be so negative. I will hazard a guess and say that he cannot escape whatever is tormenting him so all he can do is be rude anonymously while being constantly pulled into line by his peers.

I have been harassed by atheist, for my beliefs, it works both ways.

I think the way any minority WORLDWIDE is treated depends upon location and how open that person is and what the social norms of that location may be. You atheists while better treated in the west still have stigmas attached to them. And we know areas of the world where apostasy and blasphemy are crimes. |
