Conclusions: What postitions are most typical of atheists using AF.org

RE: Conclusions: What postitions are most typical of atheists using AF.org
'I do not believe you have a $50 in your pocket' is a little different from 'I believe you don't have a $50 in your pocket'. With the former statement I am claiming a lack of belief, for whatever reason, in you having a $50 in your pocket. I need to be convinced before I'll believe you have it. Witht the second statement, I'm already convinced you don't have it.

You're not wrong. You're an agnostic atheist: doesn't know, doesn't believe. An agnostic theist doesn't know, but believes anyway. You're an agnostic because you don't know, and an atheist because you don't believe.

Helpful?
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

Bingo! Then there are those of us who are generally agnostic atheists, but gnostic aJewish, aChristian, and aIslamists. I don't have a belief in a deity, and I don't believe in the god of Abraham, Isaac, Jacab. I'm also a gnostic atheist as to Thor, Zeus, and a host of others.
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god.  If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.

I wonder if your aChristianity et al are based on fundamentalist versions of Christianity. (I assume it is possible to be an agnostic Christian who understands the bible allegorically. Not that anyone hears from this sort of xtian very often.)

The view that reflects my position is gnostic atheism when we are talking about any specific religion, since I can prove them wrong and therefore disprove their god, and an agnostic atheist regarding god as a supernatural being (the kind of god agnostic theists and deists believe, the one who is still all powerful but isn't exactly like the gods of every religion) since I can't prove those positions are wrong, I can only lack belief in those deities. That being said, do you guys think gnostic atheist labels me better? Or should I keep the label agnostic atheist?

Here we go .... The labels are back!
We need to categorise more precisely.

I'm:

99.9% no god
99.9% no spaceman
99.9% no computer simulation
99.9% it is what it is
99.9% sure we have fantastic imaginations
No God, No fear.
Know God, Know fear.

Isn't that pretty much Gnostic Atheism?

And proud! Snowflakes drifting around making ice and tripping old people. I can't even remember how to play blackjack, I guess I'll ask the hooker. Then we'll all shout at words that describe groups of people while playing blackjack.
