We're pretty meticulous at preserving threads we delete and/or unapprove, which I must also add is very, very rare.

We're not moderators to determine what content we think other member should discuss and what they shouldn't (like the a+ mods appear to be in Becca's thread quote), but to keep the riff raff at the door and to ensure the forum runs smoothly.

No wonder so many people exodus from the a+ forums. It's run like a cartel.

Wouldn't you think if they come under so much fire that they might stop and question what it is about what they're doing that has called down upon them so much ire? They seem to be blind to insight. This must be what comes when you band together with a political agenda. What helps you is friend what hinders you is foe. You can't engage them in reflection because they've already moved on to action.

Oh well, I'll look for my opportunities to put my finger on the problem but this isn't going to last long. In the end, it isn't my kind of place.

Irreverence might just be an adequate test to determine if you're taking yourself too seriously. They seem fluent in dismissiveness, snootiness but irreverence doesn't seem to be club in their bag.
