I hate the damage Christianity has had on the human psyche for two thousand years but the religion itself is too asinine for me to personally invest any strong emotions into it one way or another. That said, there are some great ideas contained in the New Testament if one can look past all the silliness and xenophobia.
Also, Islam...Ew. I'd pick the Bible (which as a whole, is pretty fascinating) over the Qur'an any day.

One of the biggest anti-theists in my country said himself the bible has lots of literary value and should be studied in classes to understand one's culture and history. Nothing wrong with that.

I think you'll find it's the 'redneck', 'evangelical fundamentalist', and 'conservative Catholic' subsets of Christianity that are particularly annoying. I never met a Quaker I didn't like. The UCC is alright by me. Episcopelians don't give me much grief. Unfortunately, most of us live in a country heavy on the first three.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.
