Now you've inspired me to have a crack at this - and I'm notoriously camera-phobic. Right, as soon as I get back home I'll dig out the camera and knock one out. Then when I've got my breath back, I might do an accent video.

I can do most accents pretty well, some better than others of course. Except Welsh. I've tried and tried but I just cannot do Welsh... not without coming off like a bad seventies racial stereotype, anyway.

I'd say more music films and video games., and a bit from school. In highschool I tried to practice a british accent but I quit, a mix between american and british is fine. We tugas have a nice accent because our language lacks many ups and downs vocally, unlike the spanish or brazilian portuguese, they have a very strong pronunciation in english
Since you said you have kids (I think you said it) I imagined you older, or you could simply look younger, and since you mentioned you work in research I imagined an experienced scientist, with a bit of grey hairs

To be honest I don't think mine is that pronounced, but then, I meet new people from other places in England and they all instantly know I'm a brummie.
