Those pastors who measure the value of their congregations by the number of actual christians will continue to preach the gospel as it is. That's all you can really do. You have to present the faith as it really is and those who reject it can go the way they want, which is what many of the younger generation are doing. It's a pastor's job to present the truth of the gospel and let God worry about the numbers.

I appreciate your honesty. But I guess that most religious sects have a business model which depends on numbers and revenues, and will want to maximise both, so 'bums on seats' as the British say, would be important.

I moved from Atlanta to NYC in December. Not tripping over a church every 100 yards has been a nice change of pace. Funny thing is that this morning I had a piece of paper under my wiper; it had nothing to do with God's love. This is what it had....

Matthew 10:34 - Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.

I think the determining factor is the value of their stock portfolio.

I don't know if there are more batshit zealots or if they are just getting louder and more influential. Even Pat fucking Robertson thinks the mainstream batshits are making fools of themselves.

I also think ripping out nativity scenes is opening the bag of fucking nuts. It becomes political when they have to stand up for themselves. Same could be said about gay marriage and reproductive rights. Stand up for your rights and stand up for theirs. Diplomacy and peace are contagious.

Isn't that the game you play? You pick any BS website and hope you won't have someone fact check you.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

Hi Everyone,

This is a fact that everything that happen with us is only because of god. Their are many religious books in marketing in which defination of god is different but the important thing is "GOD IS ONE" for any religion but having different names.
