If you believe this you had better pray - I mean hope that you are right.
Do I detect a bit of Pascal's Wager here?
If so...seriously?
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

Theo is a true believer. He seems to believe pretty much anything he is told.
Hey, Theo. Did they finally give up the fight at TFA?

Your source is AIG? That's only slightly less reliable than getting investment advice from a three year old.
Science flies us to the moon and stars. Religion flies us into buildings.
God allowed 200,000 people to die in an earthquake. So what makes you think he cares about YOUR problems?

The 3 year old might get something right by accident. AIG with their sad attachment to the Big Book of Bullshit has no chance of getting anything right.

Like much of the rest of the Old Testament the longevity of some of the characters portrayed in it's stories most likely has it's roots in the mythology of Mesopotamia.

Hey, Theo. Did they finally give up the fight at TFA? Apparently they did.

Have you considered that fact that the Bible and Mesopotamian myths are both based on historical reality?
His invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.

'You can have all the faith you want in spirits, and the afterlife, and heaven and hell, but when it comes to this world, don't be an idiot. Cause you can tell me you put your faith in God to put you through the day, but when it comes time to cross the road, I know you look both ways.' - Dr House
“Young earth creationism is essentially the position that all of modern science, 90% of living scientists and 98% of living biologists, all major university biology departments, every major science journal, the American Academy of Sciences, and every major science organization in the world, are all wrong regarding the origins and development of life….but one particular tribe of uneducated, bronze aged, goat herders got it exactly right.” - Chuck Easttom
