It's completely baseless for you to assume it's baseless. How do you know it's baseless?
My claim is not an absolute one. I claim that it is highly probable that both 'methods' - if they're worthy of that word! - are absolute bullshit due to the fact both have no evidence supporting them whatsoever as far as I know. I consider them baseless methods because I haven't seen either of them provide evidence. So what exactly is baseless about my claim?
Yours on the other hand.... you assumed that my claim was baseless even though it's entirely based on the fact that both methods are (as far as I know) completely lacking support (and my claim is not an absolute one either). You claim that my claim is absolutely baseless but as far as I know yours is... oh the irony.
I know of no evidence for any point to anyone's life at all other than their own relative motivations . I know of no evidence for objective values or 'meaning' of any kind.
Subjectively, as myself, bullshit non-existent objective values aside - my life is very mundane right now. Very.
Only objectively. Because the notion only could make sense 'objectively' to me and I know of no evidence of that so I of course disbelieve in any objective 'point'.
Whether I'm enjoying life or not, asking whether it is pointless to me or not simply means whether I consider there's a point going on living. And yeah, of course I do. Stuff just seems bland atm. Very.

It is a very human thing to see patterns and purpose where there is none.
Basically our life has no point, no reason.
Why should it?
To think that your life holds some greater purpose is just an arrogance.
'Shit happens' and two of those things that happened were you and me.
Ok, slow the boat there a sec. I agree with the first statement. I can possibly conceed that it has no self-discernable reason. I just wanted to add that's it's not meaningless though. I don't think it's simply arrogance to feel your life holds great purpose. But you said greater purpose, greater than what?
What if our purpose is to give reason? What if our purpose is superintelligent fertilizer? Just because we currently can rationalize what the purpose is doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
