Nope, sorry here are a couple of things you need to consider.
1. Some people will never respond to honey and sometimes there is no polite way to tell someone they are full of shit.
2. You also assume that the debate in the moment is the end goal. Most of the time when someone leaves one position for another no matter the issue, it is never one one person or one moment of time. Humans do not shape their positions in the moment but over time.
3. You also assume that honey is what we need to always present to make a point. The problem is that if we never have our internal conflicts ourselves others outside our label will assume we are blind loyalists ourselves. Our different approaches is a good thing to see because they cant paint us as sheep.
Context matters and life is never an either/or proposition.
