Yeah the design is unfinished. Also it doesn't play audio by default, unless you clicked the "audio on" test one (de-aacs-private-video2.php) this is the main one and how it is supposed to look (well work in progress):

The plain version will be fixed once the main one is finished. The plain version will have a slightly different style to the main one (eg no transparency).
I've added a rudimentary about page and privacy policy, which will be simplified, later. As I just wrote them I can't be bothered ghost-writing them to perfection right now!
The video can now be controlled (see controls in top/right). Also full attribution is now there too. Yes I will have a 2nd version with no video background, but no the video is not going to be removed from the main one. I looked extensively through other videos and couldn't find an alternative (the next best I could find was 4 Season Timelapse - vimeo.com/39493181). The video file is only 50-55mb, I could reduce that to ~35mb by using 4 seasons, but I just don't like it as much as Yosemite HD. Yosemite HD tells its story even without the audio, and it's a simple universal story. Yosemite II is even more beautiful, but to me the story isn't as strong (eg it goes from sunset to dawn skipping night). It shouldn't matter if there are minor problems with streaming with the audio off. Also, I'm happy with the video quality now, it's a compromise that is not perfect but good enough to do it justice and serve its purpose.
Some of the logos need to be corrected (including mine). The search boxes are unfinished (at the moment there's 1 primary style for the submit colour, this will be corrected). Due to Stealthy's helpful comment, ALL search boxes will eventually have placeholder texts to make it abundantly clear of what their function is. I will remove: Bing (the real one), Wolfram Alpha, and Yandex and move Google Scholar up alongside youtube. I'll also find another way of doing the disconnect.me boxes, eg. they might each have their own disconnect.me logo.
The green text was a mistake - it seemed like a good idea at the time, but I'll change it to something else. It has to be reasonably legible, and yes it will be sans-serif and probably will use an imported font (ultimately) rather than Arial etc.

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK
"That's disgusting. There were clean athletes out there that have had their whole careers ruined by people like Lance Armstrong who just bended thoughts to fit their circumstances. He didn't look up cheating because he wanted to stop, he wanted to justify what he was doing and to keep that continuing on." - Nicole Cooke
