Soooooo glad I did not grow up in that state...funny enough my Dad did and he's about as atheist as it gets and always has been so there is hope lol.

This is also the state that voted to remove mention of institutional racism, and to remove Thomas Jefferson from the curriculum of influential political philosophers because he was for separation of church and state.
I have come to expect stupid from Texas, even if they do have nice roads.
