Filtering water is probably unnecessary...

RE: Filtering water is probably unnecessary...
The well water at my house absolutely stunk before we got a filter. I'm not sure what the cause actually was, one person we had test the water said it was too much sulfur, another water tester said something else, and another something else. So in my case water filtration was necessary because the smell of the water alone was making me sick.

Other reasons people filter water could be for taste reasons or if you had something like lead in your water.

Well, sulfur is know to have healing properties:

http://www.healthvitaminsguide.com/minerals/sulfur.htm

Quote:Sulfur is known as a healing mineral. It aids every cell in the elimination of toxic substances through agitation. Sulfer aids functions in enzyme reaction and protein synthesis and is important in cellular respiration.

Sounds like Sulfur can help eliminate the toxic effects of other substances in the water.

Quote:It is believed that sulfur can repair the myelin sheath, the protector on the end of every nerve in the body.

Knowing this fact, Sulfur could probably aid alzheimer's patients and cure Duke Nuke-em's disease. (Even though it is a totally fictitious disease)

Quote:It increases blood circulation, promotes muscle health, scavenges free radicals, beautifies the skin, is important for carbohydrate metabolism and speeds wound healing.

Sounds like a cure for impotence and a sure way to beautify yourself so girls will give you a chance to exercise said potency! Apparently it can give you X-man like healing abilities!

You had the fountain of youth and vitality on your property and you ruined it by installing a filter! All because you couldn't handle the smell.

Bottled water is a scam. I only buy it because if I'm thirsty when I'm at and about, I don't want soda. I don't like bottled soda or tea or juice. So bottled water it is, but even then I won't buy the ridiculously expensive type, like Fiji.

Anyway, I have a brita water filter because I've noticed a difference in taste. That's the only reason I like the filter.

Maybe you aren't getting all the beneficial stuff that is in water like chlorine that could help keep your insides clean. You are probably filtering out all the sulfur and floride too...

Did you know that a large male whale produces about 150 litres of sperm during sex?

And only about one litre enters the female.

Now you know why sea water tastes salty.

If a woman has sex with a man really soon after having sex with another man, the sperm will do battle.

I think that's awesome.

Sperm is high in protein, but I don't really want to know if there is sperm in my water. Smile

In chimpanzees, semen from one male forms a plug on inside of the female so that other males can't impregnate her. This in turn selects for stickiness.

Ducks have corkscrew penises and the females can choose to use a specific load of sperm from any of the males she mates with.

Ever see a video of a duck erection? You will never get the image out of your head.

I use a Brita filter because I like the taste and my taps have been dispensing foggy water as of late. I never buy bottled water because it's a fucking scam and a waste of resources.
