Seeking female atheist writer/speaker for YouTube collaboration

Yeah, I don't really get into the whole role of playing white knight over the internet. I do think that it's a weird request though. I mean youtube has a way larger community of Atheists than this forum, not to mention some of them have experience making videos and stuff. Seems like the logical place to go.

The only person I see here that got protective is drich. Personally I think its Becca's decision all the way, even if it was a porno call she is a grown woman and can make her own choices. No white knight needed. I also don't get why GBB didn't hang around the forum a little more and make a few posts to get a feel for things first.

He didn't hang around because it wasn't his intention in the first place. As much as I don't necessarily like the way they went about it (or their reasons for it), those who got protective were right for doing so.

Second, LastPoet, you publicly denounced me, even going so far as to hope that I am not indeed GreatBigBore on YouTube, but you based your denunciation on something entirely untrue. I never made a single complaint about the forum rules or your enforcement of them. Thank you for being such a sport by PM, telling me that the truth of this matter is "irrelevant" to you. Becca, I still don't understand how at the beginning of the conversation you were very helpful and kind, but at the end of the conversation you decided that I am simply shilling and spamming. I wonder why you didn't notice it at the beginning. Maybe because I ran afoul of LastPoet, who finds the truth irrelevant?.

All I did was going trough all the forum redtape to eliminate the link you posted and was propagated by other members quotes. It does violate our no spamming rule because advertizing for a channel without 30/30 is. You might provide a link to sources supporting a given argument, but that soucing should be direct.

And what I found irrelevant was your question on why was I disapointed at your attitude. It does not pertain to any of my moderating actions and my personal feelings are not up for discussion, unless I choose to discuss them.

Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out. I find interesting that some atheists think other atheists should act in a specific way, assigning more meaning to the description than it already does. Please go to the Atheism + forum, they seem well versed in attaching a morality to the word "atheist".

@ whateverist: I can speak for myself that no knight-in-shining-armor routine was intended, and I see nothing on the OP's posts that somehow baits women, just an invite for one to be a co-contributor in his channel. What I saw was an ill perceived "youtube celebrity" throwing a tantrum and rage-quitting the forum because apparently we should've made an exception applying the rules to him.

It may happen one day, but I won't be here as a mod when that happens.

No but if your looking for a collaboration then yoiu may want to know what kind of people your ad will be attracting. After all you can't lump all atheist forums together. For example we don't have the Pentecostal choir of kings chosen like I heard of from ttaf, and we certainly not Atheist+. But how the fuck would he know that if he didn't hang around a bit?
