I mean once theists realize how bad their position is for saying god is real.
That is when they need to stop making positive claims about god. I mean it doesn't take a
rocket scientist to see that god is not real. I mean given the position if i were a theist i wouldn't
be even remotely trying to prove god exists or make that claim because its as the person who is
claiming a god exists has already lost before the debate has started.
Atheism is a non-prophet organization join today.

He had one of the weirdest versions of the argument.
He said that if God doesn't contradict reality, then he chooses to believe in it. I argued belief is not a choice, but he is the only person to ever say to me belief is a choice.
Of course, he did the WLC of argueing for a deistic God and then switched in Yahweh, just quoting a couple of verses as if that's going to impress an atheist.
It was a shame to see him go, as he was one of the nicer and more reasonable theists, most of the time.

He was always pretty coy about his beliefs, and I don't think he ever planned to put them out here to be scrutinized. But he was pretty sociable outside of the religious discussion, which is why so many of us were sad to see him banned IMO.

I've been to Cadbury's, in Bournville. The village doesn't smell of chocolate but the factory, naturally, does.
I also worked for a few months in a chocolate factory in Telford, Shropshire, called Magna. We used to produce all Cadbury, Nestlé, Mars etc products, which at the time - October to December - was easter eggs. That place reeked of chocolate so much, I couldn't go near as much as a Creme Egg without flashbacks.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
