Conclusive proof of God

Also, the topic now seems to be requiring proof for the existence of God. I have my own and dont pretend that it will convince others. But that is not what my question was: It was CAN there be proof of God's existence not WHAT is proof of God's existence.

I offered my own thoughts on that a few pages back.

If you decide that god cannot be proven to exist and therefore the issue must be determined by faith (that is, belief regardless of proof) then the person who claims that god does not exist is indeed in the same boat as you are. He has used the very same method to come to the completely opposite conclusion. Doesn't that invalidate faith as a way of determining whether god does or does not exist?

If you think the plausibility of God matches that of vampires and faeries which are are always presented as fantasy then you have obviously closed your mind to the concept of God. And from other responses here so have most others. So much so that you were not willing to put that aside to entertain a thought experiment. And that's fine. You are entitled to your opinion. It just proves to me how nearly impossible it would be for God to prove himself in this world even just among skeptics who should have no preconceived notion of what God should be. Maybe I wrong. Maybe believers would accept this God being quicker. In any case, I am unsubscribing from this thread. I have learnt what I needed to know.
