No, I just don't like reading your posts,

No, a 24-week-old fetus is generally not viable. Where did you get the idea that it is?

And if you don't read my posts, then you won't hear the facts - so don't claim I haven't provided any.
Just because I said I don't like reading them doesn't mean I haven't read them, in the UK babies are aborted up to 24 weeks.

Yes, they are. Would 22 weeks be better?
Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.
Science is not a subject, but a method.

See what I don't understand is why it takes so long to decide to have one, do you know why?

Chas so what were your facts.

You can't just rock up at the doctors and say "I want an abortion" and they do it that day.

Ever heard of a waiting list.

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.

First of all, women do not have a little light on their forehead that flashes to tell them they are pregnant. For woman with irregular cycles the discovery might come quite late.

Second, doctors generally won't perform an abortion the day you ask for one. In the U.S. many states have a statutory wait time and doctors who will perform abortions are thin on the ground to to Christian protesters (and death threats) and state legislatures imposing absurd requirements concerning abortion facilities.

And there's raising the money to pay for it.

Oh and some women want to discuss the issue with the guy who would be the father.

The above assumes, of course, that the abortion is simply because the woman does not want to have a baby. But, the discovery that the fetus is genetically damaged may come quite late. So too might complications that endanger her life or long term health.

I never knew that so many people were eager to kill their unborn child.

Now please explain why, if the viability or development of the zygote isn't relevant to the question of whether it's a person, why when it happens matters. Presumably, if you really believe two cells are a person you would be just as outraged about killing it at two hours as at four months. Because it seems to me you are having it both ways here. You want it to be human from the moment of fertilization of the egg, but yet become somehow more human as it develops.

No I believe it is human from conception.

Really?

I've miscarried, but never aborted. I have two girls just about to enter college. I want them to retain the right not to have children until they want them. I want grandchildren, just not tomorrow.

If they do have to abort, there won't be any child killing involved.

Then WHY do you care how late the abortion occurs?
