Not really sure what else the pope could do for peace besides speak out in favor of it.
As for this pope specifically, I certainly like him a lot better than the Emperor Palpentine he replaced. I love how he's actually getting people to look at things like peace and compassion instead of just harping on and on about condoms causing AIDS or telling everyone they're going to hell. I really love how the Republicans here in the US are all upset about him, even while they're trying to be the good Christians.

Since Obama seem to have deserved a nobel prize not for doing anything, not for being anything, not even for wearing any hats, but for not being Bush (a qualification which I might humbly say I also possess in cornucopian abundance, by the way), why shouldn't Pope Francis get a nobel prize for not being Pope Adolf?
If I were to have influence in the Nobel committee, I would give the Nobel Peace prize to Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfled, posthumously, for dying.
