Hello all,

I'm Astrogod07. I've been an atheist for about 3 years now after having grown up in a church environment and gone to a christian school. I study Aerospace Engineering in Daytona Beach FL, and am hoping to get a job soon designing jet engines.

In my free time, I enjoy telling young-earth creationists why they're wrong and feeding the trolls in the comments sections of conservative religious articles (futile, I know, but sometimes fun). Oh, and my deconversion had a lot to do with coming to terms with the fact that I am gay, which I may post about in the Converts' Corner.

I look forward to interacting with you guys.

Cool, another guy ready to slap down the unbelievably ignorant reality deniers (young earthers). I just can't be bothered to reply to posts which have no thought (or brain) behind them whatsoever, but I enjoy watching other people take them to pieces. I guess I hope that eventually they will "wake up" and realize they are just robots spouting the same drivel they have been programmed with and start to actually ask honest questions about their belief.

BTW, the 'god lovers' we have are the liberal, backsliding, cafeteria christian variety. Scarcely worth the bother to engage, they all have their own specific take on faith and Jesus be damned, they all ignore about 95% of the bible. No scent of piety or humility on any of 'em.
