I can.
But the universe has only one reason to exist:
It's all in the plan.
A matter of fine tuning.
The physical constants are delicately balanced to produce the primordial H and a little He which coalesced into stars.
The first generation stars went nova after making C and N and I and all the elements necessary for the execution of the plan.
This mixture formed another generation of stars with planets one of which is in just the right location for organic life to emerge.
And life did emerge exactly according to the plan and began to evolve.
And humans domesticated hopps and barley according to the plan.
And eventually, after billions of years, evolution produced Willis Carrier, the inventor of mechanical refrigeration.
And, executing the culmination of the plan, I just went to the refrigerator and got another beer.
Which is the reason for the existence of the universe.
So how, exactly, does God know that She's NOT a brain in a vat?

This is where religion takes bullshit to a new level. ------enter "afterlife".

"Continuing creation" may refer to the creative arguments being summoned out of thin ass by theists.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

Also, continuing creation =/= continuous creation. If I eat roast beef for every meal and have done since I was a child, one could say I am continuing to eat roast beef. But that doesn't imply that I'm continually eating without a break.
