An Explanation
Yes, they could have VERY easily have Googled the answers (I did). I find it telling that none did. The thread got 14 replies and 192 views, leading me to believe that more than a few Christians viewed the questions. Yet not a single one attempted to do a smattering of websearching to find out an answer. However, you ask them a question related to their faith and get back reams and reams of what are clearly (to me, at least) recently Googled information.
While this test was by no means scientific, it does lend at least a little support to my long-held contention that believers in general and Christians in particular are stunningly uninterested in knowledge that does not directly and immediately support their particular belief system. Reminds me of hobbits:
They like their books filled with things they already know, set out fair and square with no contradictions.
