Yahweh dictates a lot, and he allows very few freedoms. Take for instance the guy who was murdered for picking up sticks on the wrong day of the week.
It's true that what I do is my own burden to bear. Someone else dying for what I do is a joke.

So, if there is no suffering in heaven does that mean that courage, devotion, loyalty, self sacrifice, kindness etc don't exist in paradise?
It's already learnt on earth. Remember, only learners go to Heaven.

In order for the flood story to be true, the entire population of earth would have been slowly drowned as they watched their loved ones suffering. I have no idea how bible god is the good guy in that story.

nope he chooses who goes to heaven ergo our free will is a illusion he knows the outcome of who is and who isn't.

you would also account in were did the water come from where did it go. im pretty sure death would be relatively fast if a huge wave knocked you out you would drown under water or if your the lucky one get slammed into something causing instant death(i drowned before its something that really sucks).

You must have read a Bible that was missing Genesis, because that's not what happens at all.

Not in a world that exists because of natural forces, no. Now, a world created by a being unlimited by any constraints of knowledge or capacity logically must be able to create a world in which such qualities exist, without the threat of death and danger. Either that god is significantly limited in his capabilities, or he gets a thrill out of making sentient creatures suffer and die.

So, if a newborn dies, does it not go to heaven? You said that courage, kindness were learnt on earth but babies that die young never got a change to learn those traits.
Also, there are many nonChristians who are brave, loyal etc. Do they go to heaven too?

Some say Satan was only responsible for 10 deaths, but they forgot the servants.
However, I do not see where Satan actually took action.
IMHO, Satan is not a murderer, unlike the 'loving and merciful' god.
But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.
Job 1:11
While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The fire of God is fallen from heaven, and hath burned up the sheep, and the servants, and consumed them; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.
Job 1:16
While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, Thy sons and thy daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother's house: And, behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness, and smote the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young men, and they are dead; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.
Job 1:18-19

I was taught as a catholic that purgatory was hell with a time limit.

Pretty much you get burned for an couple thousand years and your clean and shipped off to heaven. Now babies burn for a couple years then they are off.
