BIG THEOLOGY NEWS!!
December 10, 2014 at 9:03 am
Apparently according to the Pope pets now go to heaven (they didn't according to the Pope before).
This Pope has already said Atheists get to go to heaven if they obey their conscience, though a Catholic church spokesman then dismissed this and confirmed that they go to Hell.
This raises all sorts of interesting questions (and by interesting, I mean stupid):
Does a human-killing shark go to heaven, it is only doing what it has evolved to do?
Do I go to Hell and my pet cat go to heaven?
Do mosquitoes go to heaven?

This has very profound consequences for half of the BDSM scene.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

Well..."Obeying their conscience" is just a way of saying "Follows the rules of the catholic church", because in Catholicism there is no relativistic conscience and it is the seed planted by God, and going against that pre-installed bit of software is what gets you sent to hell.

I don't doubt that the pets of those who go up get a free ride.
Not for the benefit of the critters at all, but for the benefit of the redeemed.
I have no interest in pets so I am not anticipating any there.
Real fast cars / sportbikes- I have a list and am checking it twice.

For all the scripture-pounders here, where in the scriptures does it mention pets going to heaven?

In that case, I hope there's porn and sheep.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."
For context, this is the previous verse:
"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

So... The pope just gets to tell God what he wants now?
Or did God change his mind?
Pretty sure the bible still says the same shit. This adaptation nonsense is getting on my nerves.

Nah, this Pope just likes to do the "It's not ME judging you or making the decisions, I'M not the one making the judgments, it's God and I'm just relaying what he says" song and dance.
