The lack of oversight of anything when you get to these conditions is money and economics. It is a vicious cycle that breads the fear on all sides.
Of course it's climate, but I think your analysis of the nature and scope of the climate is wrong. Maslow's Hammer at work again.
Cut the crap, this isnt a dead philosophy. This is a DIRECT result of
an economy driven by greed and extraction.
In evolution, and since we ARE one species in evolution, ecosystems matter. Economies are the way we gain resources and we behave no differently than other species when we are stressed. The only way to reduce stress economically is to maximize the stability of more of the population.
This isn't brain surgery and. Nature is what we live in and resources are what it is all about.
Evolution, explains why humans do what they do. Lack of resources will ALWAYS cause more division no matter what you set up.
You are selling dead crap that does nothing to solve problems.
RESOURCES are what life is all about, nothing more. Our politics and religions and and boarders and economic views are the EXCUSES to group to gain those resources. It benefits the group that creates those labels but the downside to ignoring what I am saying is that it pits humans against other humans based on our artificial constructs.
Maslow's hammer has NOTHING to do with this. Don't project your crappy argument on me. I never said we are not a complex species it is precisely because we are complex that we IGNORE our common existence which allows us to set up in group vs out group dynamics.
It is because you ignore the CORE of reality of what we are really after that humans have a hard time untying the complex social structures that allow us to be divided.
Oh and by "resources" FYI, I am not strictly talking about money or food. Emotional support, family support, and group support are part of group survival which is universal regardless of what group we belong to. It is still about resources. Once you accept that you can work past differences. If you don't accept that you allow the stagnation of more human division instead of reducing it. It isn't about ridding the world of differences but how to manage those differences better to reduce stress and division.
The point you keep missing is that WE have never been a separate species.
