Well technically the wiki defines pantheism as
'Pantheists thus do not believe in a distinct personal or anthropomorphic god'
and this guy definitely believes in an anthropomorphic god. he makes that pretty clear in his posts.
I think he got lost explaining it all cause he was too enthusiastic it must be new to him. It is the same old trip from the 60's that has been going on for decades. They used to call them EST seminars and such things.
Easier to see on LSD I guess haha
but I have seen people not on drugs get it too at some of those seminars.
It is just seeing life as one. not a hard thing to grasp and clearly just a choice of perspective for the individual. it is a common theme in many religions such as pentacostals, gnostic, and pagan's.
the trimorphic protennoia backs that up pretty clear too.
http://gnosis.org/naghamm/trimorph.html
he is more a gnostic than a pantheist I think.

I like the line in red dwarf, when Kryten tries to tell Lister that machines go to heaven. Kryten says, "Do you not think God is in all things? Aren't you a pantheist?" And Lister replies, "Yeah, but I just don't think it applies to kitchen utensils. I'm not a frying-pantheist!"
Ah, red dwarf. The last two seasons were shit. Ah well. Used to be great.

"For is it not written in the Electronic Bible, 'The iron shall lie down with the lamp'?"
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Red Dwarf was one of the few shows from the BBC we got over here in states when I was a kid. My sister and I would stay up past all the late night shows to watch it. I thought it was the oddest, funniest thing. Good thing my sister and I are odd.
Interesting tid bit: Kat was one of the fire gang in The Labrynth. I think he actually wrote the song Chilly Down with the Fire Gang, but that's from an old memory so don't quote me.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."
For context, this is the previous verse:
"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

Oh wow, really? Danny Jon joules or whatever his name is? Cool I love labyrinth. Ending still makes me cry today, I'm such a weakling.
Yeah Red Dwarf has always had a special place in my heart. I like the first two seasons the most, for the unfiltered vitriol that rimmer spits at everyone. I like the later stuff too, but the characters get softened and it becomes more of a Sci fi comedy romp.

Robert Llewellyn was at the last (and so far only) comic con I went to I came that close to get his autograph.

Well if god is the universe, I hardly see why we need to thank it. I could thank the tree in my back yard for doing what it does, but it would be doing what it does irrespective of what I do as long as I don't harm it. It doesn't care. I'm pretty sure the authors of the bible expected their god to be more than just the universe, since we're talking about theism. Not pantheism. The universe does not want converts. It will not reward or punish those in the afterlife depending on how much we thank it for existing.
This of course ignores all the other types of gods that people have talked about throughout history. It would be nice if we could figure out exactly what a god is, and what it can do, but since we haven't found one yet we can't really conclusively say what one is. Kind of like how you have different stories of what Vampires are, and what they can do, because it's a mythological creature that has yet to be produced and studied.
Why is a pantheist trying to push the bible on us anyway?
