How do you know "that isn't what is?"

Well what is it ?.

So if I say "I don't know", do you jump to the conclusion that your right? Because my lack of knowledge doesn't prove your knowledge.

If I say it is the cosmos, how would you know that I'm wrong?

I personally disagree with you several steps back but was late to the discussion.

Lets get this right, I do not know anything, you can call it the cosmos, but that isn't what is, and any name I call it isn't what is also, but we have to communicate and so we need to use some sort of language, but after using the words which are only pointer pointing to what we cannot know, we then drop the word. Its like digging a thorn out of your foot using another thorn, after the thorn is out, you throw them away.

We give names to things we do not know. We do it ever time we find something knew. We do NOT drop the word just because we learned something about it. When you look up in the sky and see a star. We know that star is a big hot blob of plasma very far away. The people who first decided to call the lights in the sky did not know that. So did we stopped calling stars stars? No. It is the same for the cosmos. We gave it a name, and we recognize it as such.

Yes its a star, but its much more than a star, when I say star, your conditioning tells you what you have been told what is. But we are talking more about the concept of god, and this is what I am saying, there is something bigger than any of us will ever know, we are just a speck of dust on a speck called a planet, and here we are thinking we know so much abou8t what is out there. This mystery is what I call God, or Super Consciousness, or whatever name. We are a programmed mind body organism, we can only know what we are programmed to know, like other animals they are programmed in a way that we could never understand, but still we put labels onto what we think they know. We have our five senses to feel our way through this life, and only through those senses can we understand this life, but this life is beyond our senses, and we will never know all there is.

All these vague arguments only get you to deism at best.

How the hell do you then jump from "there's some sort of God" to "God is just like the one portrayed in this story book everyone around me seems to like"? At that point you've utterly abandoned any semblance of logic.

Especially since if you were born in an islam country, you'd be making exactly the same rationalizations but then somehow drawing an entirely different, contradictory conclusion.

Two contradictary conclusions cannot both be right. So the idea that one can be "true" for one person and the other "true" for someone else is just admitting that you're inserting what you want to be true.

I'm not just picking on frodo here, this applies to all organised God-religions. And yeah, the whole thing is an easy target because it has no basis in reality. I'll continue to bash the crap out of it until the world admits it's all horse shit.

No, our brains is a self-learning circuitry that can go beyond our instictual behaviors. Our basic insticts are the only programming we come with, the rest we are self taught.

Prove it.

Also, prove this claim as well.

What does it mean to say "life is beyond our senses?" Do you mean we cannot feel, touch, smell, hear, or taste life? If that is what you meant, you are correct. You cannot use the experience a non-object with the five senses.
