TJ is a fat fuck who can't get laid. No wonder he would be against feminists. I think most youtube Atheists have a resentment towards women because they spend all day online and don't actually socialize with many women.

To answer your question in the OP, it's because Feminism is gender inclusive and batshit crazy on lots of issues.

I agree completely. Unfortunately, a lot of people fail to understand the basic definition of feminism (gender equality) and instead write off the entire movement.

The problem with that is, the definition doesn't really fit the word anymore and this new wave of feminism is just ridiculously dogmatic and crazy. The real definition of gender equality is an Egalitarian, not just focusing on one gender like Feminism does. And notice, they only care about the women of the western society where they have it the best and even have more rights than men. Where are these feminists for women in the middle east or Africa with actual patriarchies...
If the hypothetical idea of an afterlife means more to you than the objectively true reality we all share, then you deserve no respect.

Your lack of knowledge on the subject doesn't prove anything. And the fact middle eastern or African women have it badly, doesn't invalidate fighting for equality everywhere else.

Have you ever actually read a feminist magazine? I feel like someone even moderately in touch with feminism would know that they have a very high focus on women in the middle east. This is a huge issue in feminism.

What rights do I as a male have over a woman in the west?

This should be good...

Define rights. Legal rights? Supposedly laws consider both gender equal, so no, you don't have any rights over women, and women have no rights over you, except that you mentioned you have less rights than women, a claim anedoctal at best.. What do you mean by rights?

Really? because most of the outreach from Feminists I see and most new wave feminist literature is against this so called patriarchy in the west and that is there #1 priority, look at any of the famous feminists, especially from youtube, stuck on problems that don't even really exist, like sexism in gaming.

You don't know anything about feminism. Feminism very heavily focuses on women's rights in the middle east. How can you think they don't?

I'm going to take a guess that you get most of your information from people who oppose them. Try reading up from the point of view of feminists, not those who oppose them. There is a huge movement towards women's rights in the middle east. You have been told there isn't by people who also don't read feminist literature.

It's easy to dismiss sexism in gaming when most main characters are male and the vast majority of male characters have complex personalities and are not presented as drop dead gorgeous babes or princesses meant to be saved. Do yourself some research before bringing into the table empty concepts. I'm a male, and if videogames had most protagonist as females, and males were meant to be rescued, were mostly on secondary roles or were shown as hot people meant to have sex or to be just the husband/brother/son with no primary role, I'd be offended. This becomes worse when there are surveys that show 40% or more of the gaming population is female...

Have you ever tried to game as a female online? You should do that and see what kinds of hurtful bashful comments you may be exposed too just because you're gaming.
