You'll find that's a theme with theists when it comes to human accomplishments.

God literally tampers with your mind? What kind of free will is that? Or hell, what kind of god wants to brainwash their subjects into ignorant bliss?
That's some Brave New World shit right there. Leave me out of it.
Are you so dense that you can't understand those in heaven will desire it.

GC let me give you something that is a bit out of the box. What if god want's us to grow up and become atheists. God in your eyes is the father and maybe he is just tired of it all and is making people and or souls predestined to become non believers. Now wouldn't that make any remotely sense to you?

Then you will no longer be you in Heaven.
On a side note. I don't much care whether my understanding of scripture is poor, in the same way you probably don't care if your understanding of the Hindu Vedas or the Koran is poor.
I don't argue with them about their beliefs, and couldn't because I haven't studied their beliefs. So why do you argue against something you haven't studied, my guess is for the laughs. By the way I'll be the new me, while those in hell will be their old selves, with all the memories of every chance they had to avoid hell.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Some will, but some have a better understanding of addiction than that.

I've can honestly say I've never heard a Christian put forth the idea that they want to have their minds tampered with and their identity compromised by their God.

My new identity comes with a new name too, while those in hell will retain their old name and memories and they will only be able to focus on the bad ones they created. Alzheimer's sound like a blessing compared to a life in hell.

Honestly, now you're starting to contradict yourself within the same page. You just said, your life was great after you kicked the habbit.
