I've always said this pope was a puppet trying desperately to get followers
Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you

The institution knows that the west isn't buying old school bigotry so it has to seek less educated societies. RE: The "Liberal" Pope's hypocrisy

Feynman once said that he did his picture exhibition anonymously because he didn't want people to praise it simply because they were by feynman - he likened it to a dancing dog or something, which is not famous because the dancing is particularly good, but because it's a dog. Same with the pope: he gets great praise from all sides, including liberals, for being slightly less appalling, because he's the pope. I fail to be impressed.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

While there is no such thing as a utopia and humans are never one topic and we really have no choice but to get along, the problem with a holy person burning the candle at both ends is that they can claim all they want it brings peace, but if they are talking out of both sides of their mouths, it keeps that division. I really see it no different that the NRA and gun makers selling their product to both the public and police. Keep the fear and division up, allows you to control the narrative. In the west we know politicians do that, but it is gas on the fire when you add religion to it. |
