Like a lion in a den of daniels.

During those catholic masses my parents wanted me to attend, the lords prayer was to me a high point. It meant it was almost over, after that you eat a cookie, then get the fuck out of there, to properly play with other kids.

It's an experience, but it will fry your brain if you do it too much.

Amen. preach it! Tongue

It's the perfect time to enjoy some seriously cool adventures. Don't be bored... look, see... find your own fun... build your own gods.

Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.

Yes I have had a so called religious experience and even wrote a book about it, but I wont be sharing that here.

The closest I've ever had to a religious experience would be a feeling of purification after having a confession. (Do non-Catholics do those?) And then several years later I got an even stronger feeling of purification when playing Final Fantasy IV and Cecil became a paladin, so...

Honestly, my religious experiences have consisted:
Falling asleep in Church
Being really hungry in Church
Wanting to argue with my religious sex-ed teacher, who believed homosexuality was wrong, sex before marriage was wrong, all abortions are wrong, animals won't go to heaven because they don't have souls (for the record, humans are animals, bitch)
Wanting to argue with religious teachers in general
Being quietly mad through religion class and Church
Feeling idiotic while saying prayers out loud with everyone else (because we were basically just chanting to words to an ivisible dude in the sky, you would feel stupid too)
Making up over-the-top bullshit that no one ever caught
Dicussing religion at 3:00 am with my really close friend, who seems to be agnostic as well
Finding religious and athiest forums was a sort of religious experience, or a non-religious experience
A year or two ago, realizing religion is bullshit
Gone
