I went to the one in Reading and to be fair, they were pretty good. You'd be given a sermon on an area of the Baable, split into groups and debate the sermon. It was pretty open, but after 4 or 5 visits, it did get a bit boring.
I wasn't the hardened atheist back then I am now, but was very sceptical, the only reason I attended was to further endear myself to a rather lovely blonde who wanted to save me.
Bless her, she found God in a big after we had our tete a tete. Didn't know a man for another 5 years until her marriage to another sheep if what I hear is correct.
