AF.com seems to make an ass out of a lot of people. I was there for a while (same moniker) and I think I found myself having to try too hard to fit in, and it got annoying talking to myself. But I remembered the StG moniker rather fondly, so I guess I thought you were from here but lost your creds. I do that a lot.
Welcome to the other side.

Hi Saul!
I needed the avatar. Pizz-atheist. I think you've converted me.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

I'm kind of glad it wasn't just me. I think it was just herd instinct and being anonymous/faceless makes you nuts. It's easy to treat people badly if you can't look them in the eyes.

I still can't stand the board software they use at AF.com. I've pretty much given up on it.
Welcome home, prodigal son.

Welcome OP!
I hope the Pizz-atheist isn't too Saul-ty. Bad for the blood pressure and all.

Welcome back. We've got a prominent member with the initials DP taking a little vacation, I hope you can help fill the void.

There was emosamurai I think and some others I can't remember. Over time I learned to control myself and just not post anything if didn't have anything nice to say.
