No, the point was that children who do not have the wisdom and life experience to make these decisions rely on responsible adults to keep them from making medical decisions which are in fact suicidal. These parents are using religion to justify a decision which directly resulted in their child's death although the young girl wanted to live.
As an aside, are you for or against women having the right to abortion?

I believe women have no right under God to abort a healthy fetus, even though they do under current law.

I believe that guys should not act on womans rights against abortion.
if a woman wants to evacuate a fetus let her we have no control over a woman's body and or actions she can do what ever the hell she wants. I am not prolife by any means because if i was prolife i would be pro idiot.
Because rather than having to explain why there are certain things to take into consideration Lek a woman has a life percentage she could possibly die when giving birth and lets say it was a high one rather than letting her die because the fetus is healthy let her live her own life. Heck i would want to live to no little baby is taking me down so it can live nu uh i maybe selfish in that matter but everyone has a right to live even if it means aborting a fetus that can potentially kill you.

How do you reconcile this contradiction in your positions, that a mother cannot abort her fetus, but she can send her born child to her death? I think you're going to try and wedge your point with that qualifier "health", so let me ask you the obvious follow up: if you support aborting "unhealthy" fetuses, what is the difference between you and someone who supports eugenics?

That is the is the issue i have with it... because if giving birth to a child and it could possibly kill you and a doctor pretty much gives you a warning you can deliver it but.. what would be the point because that child is going to come into this world without a mom that.. is just sad.

Wow. So you must not abort, but once it's born, you can just smother it with a pillow because it doesn't matter if you live 5 second or 100 years. It goes straight to heaven, and then you just cash in that "jesus died for my sin" voucher and you're golden.
By the way, by appealing to "under God" and such, you're entirely abandoning your own morality and going just by another party's judgement. You are passing the buck, but not to God, but to the people who presume to speak for god. I'd really like to know what people's own opinions are, not what they think their religion wants them to do.
