Evidence God Exists
RE: Evidence God Exists
Can't remember who first said it, but

"When your conclusions do not match reality, it is not the fault of reality" or something very similar to that effect.

Somebody may be able to refresh my memory on that one.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Example of Min using "faulty" history?

You know, history itself isn't faulty. It is when people make shit up, calling fictional stories like the Amityville Horror and the Bible fact, that things get . . . confusing.

Using the sciences of mathmatics and astronomy in the thread "Jesus was born,um, sometime around" by DiestPaladan I was giving a date for the birth for Jesus and the death of Herod and Min ignored the science and would only quote history. Like I stated in that thread that history is constantly changing as new data comes to light and so history in itself is not completely reliable, were as the sciences of math and astronmoy are very accurate. So, what I was saying, that Min sticks to a forum that is ever changing and relies on it over science, christians here are always being told they do not go to the sciences for references and I did just that and still was deemed as foolish. So if a christian does use science in an arguement and it is not accepted then why should we bother. The thread started 12-23-2010.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Is that what you think xtian apologetics is? "Science?" You're in worse shape than I thought.

Read what I stated to Shell B, I'm glad I've left an impression on you, no matter how you view it and I will never forget you either my friend.

And even if it did, it was part of the kingdom of Herod Antipas a client king of the Romans who paid tribute to them which was set by treaty not by direct taxation to Rome.

By the time this bullshit was written down the authors had forgotten the partitioning of Herod the Great's kingdom.

True. According to the archaeological evidence, it (or Kfar HaHoresh - about 2 miles away) was inhabited from about 7000 BCE until 720 BC, when it was apparently destroyed by the Assyrians. At the beginning of the Christian Era, it appears to have been nothing more than a tiny village with a few houses - similar to what are commonly called "settlements" or "communities" in rural America. "James Strange, an American archaeologist, notes: “Nazareth is not mentioned in ancient Jewish sources earlier than the third century AD.", according to Wikipedia. James Strange is connected with the University of South Florida. Interestingly, in another paper http://www.afglc.org/Hellenistic_Sepphor...m_2010.pdf , indicates that Nazareth, at the beginning of the CE, was administered by another city Sepphoris, which was an Hellenistic Greek city. He shows that some of the ideas espoused in the gospels were Greek ideas.

Why is it that the closer you look at any of this the more it crumbles before your eyes? _Gullivers Travels_ seems to have more historical accuracy!

They'd be wrong, as you are a part of reality, as are your conclusions. Sleepy

Everything exists.

What everything is... is a different question.
