Humans are the only species with sapient and sentient intelligence. This is a gift because it has allowed us to conquer the world like no other animal. Our species is the only one capable of believing in a deity, so it's conceptually sound to surmise that we have been set apart. And all that = God exists.

Wrong again. If it is evidence of anything, it is that one particular form of life evolved to have self-awareness and an active imagination. The fact that humans possess curiosity and have tried to answer its questions by inventing god, is not evidence that god is real.

It is incorrect to refer to our intelligence as a "gift". It is no such thing. It is merely how we evolved. Saying our intelligence is a "gift" is a logical fallacy known as begging the question. By calling our intelligence a "gift" you are presuming that something must have given us this "gift". And, of course, this presumption leads you to conclude that "God" is the gift giver. And you just failed Logic 101.

More bad logic. Because we are the only species capable of believing in a deity, we have been "set apart"? How so? And by who? We are the only species that kills because of a belief in a deity. Does this also indicate that we have been "set apart"?

It really shows how little you know about other animals. Every single animal in the WORLD has traits that are unique and set them apart from the rest of the animal kingdom.
I can imagine if rats debate over whether God chose them because they're the only species that can compress their ribcages and chew through metal. CLEARLY they've been chosen, duh.

How do you know that we are the only species that is capable(or stupid enough) of creating a deity?
For that matter, since there are vastly greater numbers of bacteria I would say they have done a
much better job of conquering the planet(without fucking it up in the process BTW) than we have.

To have evidence that God exists you need to find an entity that exhibits his characterisitics:
You would need to find an entity that is omniscient, ominpotent, creater of everything.
Human awareness doesn't prove the existence of such an entity  .
