And after you learn the difference between "evidence" and "argument" (if that ever happens) you need to work on the difference between an actual "theory" and a "silly guess."

"gee we're really smart so there must be a god"
is not a theory...... Or evidence. Or anything but wishful thinking on your part. If you're not supposed to ride faster than your guardian angel can fly then mine had better get a bloody SR-71. If an idea stands up to scrutiny, it is a good idea. Your ideas have been analysed and ripped to shreds by many people in this thread, and in most cases you ignore the rebuttals. So let's be honest here...you can't see the logical error in your own idea, and we can. (May 3, 2010 at 1:20 pm)AngelThMan Wrote:(May 3, 2010 at 10:41 am)Thor Wrote:I disagree. Human intelligence isn't evidence of God's existence. There's goes the whole thread - both of them actually.
@Tiberius. Here's a perfect example. ^ Hogwash comments I've already heard.
But you haven't once actually addressed them. Maybe they've been brought up many times because you ignore them. If you had an actual answer then they would no longer be an issue- you are making a claim which you seem to hold as self-evident and no one here is buying it. Either come up with factual arguments which are not based in personal disbelief or don't expect to be taken seriously.

You're being dishonest, because I remember specifically addressing some of your questions. RE: Evidence God Exists

Angel, you just don't seem to get it. The things that you have claimed are evidence have been considered and dismissed, because they are not evidence. It is you that just keeps repeating them over and over again without any attempt to listen to what you are being told.
As tavarish said: "Lack of evidence for abiogenesis isn't evidence of God's existence. Human intelligence isn't evidence of God's existence." Those things are not evidence. If you still want to believe that they are, that's fine, but we do not consider them so. How many times must we ride this merry-go-round with you before you drop it and move on? |
