The King is dead, long live the other guy

I can't help it, Abdullah's beard always freaked me out.
I'm sure that his clonehalf brother Salman, the new King (on the right),
who has a less weird, but meaner looking beard, will enact radical reforms. I'm looking forward to it. Only 8 lashes for driving a car instead of 10 for example? Come on, disappoint me in a good way!
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

Sometimes I just can't stop the image of certain parts of the world exploding into oblivion popping into my brain. Does that make me a bad person?
Don't worry, I'm of no danger to anyone. I haven't done the years of study necessary to press the "launch nuclear missile" button.

I have absolutely no understanding of the Saudi Ariabian hierarchy. Can someone explain the affects this will have?

Alex, you should be careful how you title your post's. I almost passed out when you said the king is dead. I had to drop everything to make sure ELVIS still lives!

No one will skip a beat. We in the U.S. will continue to suck up to our drug-of-choice dealer with arms (while ignoring myriad human rights abuses), and Saudi society will continue its inexorable march into the twelfth century while its leaders enjoy lives of breathtaking extravagance.

BBC reports that his half-brother shares his outlook regarding tradition vs modernity, meaning, I think, that very little will change regarding their domestic policies.
Their international actions would be more inscrutable, I think. The Crown-prince's only previous post, I think, was Governor of Riyadh.

OMG that beard is a gay beard if I ever saw one. Gurrr that just screams "Butch Queen" lmfao
Now we know why Saudi Arabia treats their gays so bad. The lady doth protest too much
