The only source for Jesus is the bible. The bible is not evidence for Jesus' existence because its historical accuracy cannot be properly verified. Therefore, using the bible to both show Jesus existed and that the
supposed effect his actions had on the community at the time is veritably akin to stating that Harry Potter must have existed due to the effect his actions had at Hogwarts.

The real question is if any theist would dare go back to look at the beginnings of their own religion.
