Moore is an unbelievably self-righteous, bigoted asshole. He is the epitome of what is wrong with the judicial system. Here you have a guy who howls about state rights and state authority when it comes to suppressing the rights of others. However, someone utters one word about increased gun regulations and a guy like this will blow his top because of a perceived violation of constitutional rights. The truth is that scumbags like Moore only want to respect the rights of certain people, and they could care less about violating the rights of others as long as their rights are respected.

One of the larger problems at hand here is that the majority of the state absolutely agrees with Moore. They want the basic rights that they enjoy to be denied to LBGT individuals because their dusty tome is at odds with their sexual orientation. They don't care about the U.S. Constitution a bit, only their precious Bibles.
This is just another example to add to an already unending list of how religion fucks everything up.
