Did they also determine if it was filmed there?
I'm sure it has been thoroughly examined.
Again, and again. Then subject to a slow motion rewind and submitted to another committee to examine further.
I'm sure many hands were raised (amongst other things) offering to assist in this investigation.

Who knew God would be the ultimate grifter.
Wake up people! Stop getting conned by these fuck potatoes.
I'm actually going to go out on a limb here and say faith is a virtue, although not quite as they portray it. People put faith in all kinds of things, scholarly opinions of the educated, friends, family. Having faith in someone is a huge sign of respect and affection.
My dog probably has faith in me because I look after and feed him, although he's got no guarantee I'll continue to do so he still guards the house while I'm asleep or at work.
As for these guys...It's just plain old fear dude, these guys have an air of authority and have been around a very long time. They do some good things too which wins them affection in poorer parts of the world I admit, but at what cost.
That's not faith though your dog doesn't protect you because you might feed him, but because you DO feed him. There is no faith only trust. I don't put my faith in science I trust science because repeatedly tested scenarios have been done to confirm all that they say is true.

What is faith when you think about it? Faith is accepting something as if true you haven't verified or cannot check yourself.
You're trusting that the information is right. The same way you trust your wife not to bang the milkman. You've no guarantee she won't, but you trust...have faith in her that she wont.
The terms are interchangeable really, only difference being the f-word got hijacked by the theologians. I trust scientific findings too, but I haven't actually checked most of them myself, I just trust that the peer reviews of new findings are impartial and accurate.

Faith is willful dishonesty to ones self its not a gift its a hindrance. Its like... people say pray for me i have faith that ill get better. That scenario being medication and science are doing the work for a sick person and faith need not apply.

I'm sorry but I have dropped an apple before, I think I can confirm it exists.
The same goes for stars, evolution, and my car. I don't doubt science because it has no reason to lie to me and a lot of what science says makes sense and far more sense then what religion has to offer, you're asking me to trust between a known liar and someone has done nothing but prove their credibility.
Also at least scientists have the balls to call things THEORIES, there is room for error and correction, they never deal in absolutes just "most likely"

In our everyday lives we treat faith as if it were a synonym for trust, which is why people also use the term blind faith. I think blind faith is what religious faith really is, since they often describe it as exactly that.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

mhm and yet a belief system that really messed us up for i don't thousands of years and even into the modern day with radical islamist death cult crusades. yeah....no faith is a bad thing when it backs something like the abrahamic religions.

I agree with Tonus that religious faith is blind faith. Informed faith - what some are calling, 'trust' - is of practical necessity. You go to the grocery store and trust that the food is safe. There is precedence for such trust and it would be very difficult to live without it. Are you going to perform laboratory tests on all your food? You could but it just isn't worth it. We go to a dentist, ride on an airplane and many other things that require trust. Our options would be very limited without it.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

The religious are constantly trying to play the faith word game, to try and equate their entirely baseless beliefs to decisions made under a weight of previous evidence and rational thought. It's fine to call confidence faith, but indeed, the word has been bastardised by religion to mean something much more sinister.

They had the faith the world was going to end 1999 because of computers going to the year 2000 guess what they were wrong and still continued to be wrong after that.
