Or it could be the FSM's existence has been verified. I'm already prepped with my Italian cookery skills, so that one wouldn't require as much effort as a Norse god.

I believe your are confusing the defination of the work 'proof' for interpretation. Look it up, proof is something that CAN be verified (like the existence of God.) while interpretation and theory (as per the two defining theory's of atheistic belief) are just that. They are unconfirmable belief based on interpretation of what one personally considers evidence.

Atheistic belief. Huh.

Rightey-o. I'll just leave this here:

Bullshit is bullshit no matter who you address it with it.

I realize that the quote was in response to Stimbo's quote, but your choice of scripture was worthy of a comment.

You may be shocked to know the Scientologists call anyone critical of their religion a "suppressed person" or an SP.

Drich is no doubt an SP. Why? Because the Scientologists would say so. Who better to say?

Oh, fuck me. I used "versus" instead of "verses."

After the post that CD quoted and this one, too, I submit myself to public shaming.

I hate going. Not only because I think they are full of shit, but also because I think masses are very depressing and boring.

We have different priests sometimes. There is this dumbass priest that is such a jackass. He was talking about how most people today don't believe in God and he said "Being an atheist is considered intellectual, well, let me tell you one thing, THEY are the ones that are idiots!!" I just wanted to stand up and say "Yet you believe in something there is no proof of". I swear man...

Has anything like this ever happened to you??

I went to a catholic school for eight years. I really suffered intensely, but somehow I actually survived and made it through alive. They probably make you study and pass tests to graduate too! I feel sorry for you having to go through the excruciating suffering of sitting through those masses too. I know it's tough, but I hope you survive into adulthood when you don't have to attend mass anymore.

I'm shocked that any religion would claim that those who don't believe in it are the Unwanted Other, who in many cases should either be forced to convert or killed outright. Shocked, I tell you.
