Is there a way to unsubscribe from a thread on AF?

Unfortunately, there's a post in the 'atheism' section regarding a very sensitive topic, which is very upsetting for me. I don't want to receive anymore updates, or even see the title in my 'my posts' index anymore, but I don't know how to do that, if it is possible. Is there a way to unsubscribe from a thread on AF? Thanks.
If pinkie pie isn't real, then how do you explain the existence of ponies, huh? If ponies are real, then that's proof that Pinkie Pie is real. Checkmate, christians!  Heart

In theory, yes. There's a button to unsubscribe, I think, at the bottom of the thread's page.
But it doesn't work... I unsubscribed from the ban the previous poster thread and it still pops up under "my posts" every time someone replies . Sad

Unsubscribing means you won't get email notifications. You can't remove a thread from the 'my posts' section though.

Could be interesting from a suggestions/feedback point: allow users to ignore threads.

Feedback being that some users would like to.

Don't know that it's possible, but hell.. the guy asked, so...
