Right... I'm not getting the point. The bible was written by people who knew fuck all and got everything wrong pretty much. This seems like a minor error in comparison.

The bible is not to be taken literally. It was not assembled to be the sole word of god. It was created to standardize the different sects. A literalist take of the bible is wrong. "race" its distance traveled from the initial group. Things like skin color are due to latitude. well, "sun light" actually but you get the point.

A race is a regional variation of a species. Are you saying that humans have no regional variations? Biologically, race doesn't mean species. It doesn't mean subspecies (except that a geographic race that is sufficiently different taxonomically may be considered a subspecies). It means identifiable regional variations of the same species.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.
