Yeah, I read through the CNN article with this guy's quotes and... well...
I'm not surprised by the depths of horrifying, disgusting beliefs that people espouse any more, but that doesn't make it any less gross. The victim's father is calling on the defendants' appeals to be dismissed because of this, and for the death penalty to be carried out immediately. I sure don't begrudge him that desire.

India has a massive rape crisis problem. This doesn't surprise me one single bit.

Women aren't being judged on their level of compassion, intelligence or any other value other than their sexuality. If a woman isn't 'decent' then it this guy thinks it is okay to view her as less than human.
The article also discussed a man who raped a very young girl because, according to him, she was homeless and therefore had no value.
