What position do you sleep in?
#11
RE: What position do you sleep in?
1) Multiple positions. I have a degenerative bone disorder in my hip which is always painful, even when asleep, and so I have to shift or else it is unbearable. Left- and right-side fetal, occasionally on my stomach, very rarely on my back.

2) Not that I know of. I've had one gal say I do, but I had fallen off the no-smoking wagon, so I'm not sure that weekend was representative.

3) Five to seven hours, unless I'm very tired.

4) No, although as a boy I did, once. I got up in the middle of the night and pissed in the kitchen trashcan, and went back to bed.

5) Rarely. And I make no effort to do so.

1) What position do you sleep in?

fetal

2) Do you snore?

nope

3) How many hours do you typically sleep a night?

try for 8, and if I don't get it I am not ashamed to take a nap after lunch

4) Do you sleepwalk?

haven't for several years, did some frightening things when I was in my teens

5) Do you remember your dreams?

not for very long, unless they are really disturbing (like giant spiders eating my eyelids)

So I have some sleep related questions.

1) What position do you sleep in?
2) Do you snore?
3) How many hours do you typically sleep a night?
4) Do you sleepwalk?
5) Do you remember your dreams?

And because you're all dying to know, I sleep about 7 hours if I'm not online all night, I don't snore or sleepwalk and remember only the weirdest or nicest dreams.

And yes, the real reason behind this thread is figuring out if I could sleep with you in one bed, since you're asking :p

1) Big spoon. If I sleep by myself I sleep on my side or stomach.
2) Yeah, softly if I fall asleep sober, loudly back when I used to fall asleep drunk.
3) 8-9 Although I can function well on much less.
4) Not that I know of. Many people in my family do sleepwalk regularly. I've been told I talk in my sleep with regularity.
5) Not very often anymore. I used to keep a dream journal, where I wrote my dreams as soon as I woke up, that practice caused me to remember my dreams about 28 days out of 30. I also lucid dream. I've been able to lucid dream since I was a child.

1) Generally on my back.
2) I used to, not very much now.
3) 8
4) When I was young I did, a lot. Not now.
5) I still remember some dreams I had as a kid! Usually I don't remember dreams, but sometimes I do.

My brain loves to torment me. I've had some of the most horrific nightmares.

Interesting thread! I don't do any sort of lifestyle journaling like many do to better themselves. So I'll speak in rather approximate terms.

1. I start out on my back, usually, but because of poor circulation and muscular pain, I move around. The pain is mostly in my upper buttocks and my left lower back (I have spina bifida, fwiw). I'll sleep mostly either on my back or on my stomach, but on my right side as well (not sure why not my left side).

2. Quite a bit. I have a weird respiratory problem where I'll even snore (once at a time, not prolonged) when awake.

3. Probably 6, with several short naps during the day. You didn't ask, but I am prone to insomnia.

4. Wow! I have mobility problems (google "spina bifida" if you like). I use crutches. I guess the real question is, "would I sleepwalk if I were able-bodied", and I tend to think not, but I just don't know.

5. Off and on throughout my life, I have, and I tend to enjoy it when I do. My dreams are very much based on real situations, but with a few details just slightly off. I tend to be relaxed when I do recall my dreams.
