I don't support the death penalty, so I'm content to see the state reverse their decision to kill her, regardless of her beliefs.
If it's true that she has become a positive influence for other inmates, that's even better.

She needs to die because she convinced someone to kill her husband? If she is not the one that committed the act, don't you think death is a little much? As far as I know her boyfriend was an adult and was capable of making the decision NOT to kill the guy.
Not that I condone her behavior, it's just strange that the actual killer didn't receive the death penalty.

Prove she did what you have purposed. Do you know her mind, do you even know if the things said about her are not true, just what do you think you know about this lady. There are many people that try to get peoples death sentence lowered to life in prison. Because one has become a Christian you object, so do you preach kill the Christians.

Postponing her trip to the great beyond is cruel. They'd rather she live out the rest of her days in a prison cell, in constant temptation, than be "released from her burden" and join her god.
Again, this is according to christian beliefs.
Christians do not believe she should be let off the hook for her crime, they do see that God may have a purpose for her in prison, to help others find Christ.

That could be a dangerous road to travel, it could limit the appeals process for those who might be innocent. Many try to get most people off death row because they simply do not believe in it, that IMO is the lamest reason, as long as it's law it's Law. Changing the law is a better way for them to go.

Regardless of anyone's feelings on the death penalty, this is Christians asking for special application of the law because of one criminal's beliefs. It's absolutley absurd on so many levels to think that a religious conversion should affect someone's punishment that it's hard to know where to start.
No, we shouldn't execute her, but let's at least not execute her for the right reason.
What reason, you've left us hanging, no pun intended.

Do you realize how illegal that is to pay someone to commit a crime is. If she didn't want to be with her husband she could have gotten a divorce but no she hired someone to kill him and she has to pay the price.

You've been here far too long to not understand what an atheist is.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Come on, man. It's pretty clear that the position is that conversion- of any kind- should not be sufficient justification to commute or change a criminal sentence. I'm against the death penalty in all cases, but what you just said is an utterly shameful misrepresentation.

You know what I was referring to, they wanted her to continue the ministry from within the prison, because she would be there the rest of her life. They believed she was a changed person and to tell you the truth I'm glad no one said such but I was expecting it, there's still time though.

What a load of bullshit.
Can you be let off death row just for being a nice person all of a sudden, or do you have to credit nail boy for it to count?
