Did you use Hangouts to send him a message? I am looking at my Google+ now and don't see another way to send a message. I wonder if he doesn't have the Hangouts app, doesn't use Chrome, and doesn't use an Android phone, he might not get a Hangouts message unless he actually visited his Google+ page. I just looked at mine for the first time in about a year today...

Is this thread a window into the minds of cyber stalkers...or a procedural manual for the same? Both?

He sent me his email address, guys! I was right: he knows nothing about google hangouts, and just happened to check it! I forwarded him a link to this thread and the email I sent him last week. Fingers crossed

Because I don't use google+ usually, I didn't realize he left more of a comment than just sending me his email. He said he tried to call me a year ago, and that he was grateful and thanked me for my message. I guess he's been trying to find me too
