You mean why are there laws of physics?

Well because of a magic wizard who made the laws of physics, of course.

So you don't have an answer?

No but you do. Magic wizard. Or 3 of them in one, 1+1+1=1. Trinity and all that jazz.

Yeah, and if you told your child that he/she could have slaves and you told your child that they could beat them as long as they didn't die within a day or two, then who would be the immoral one? It would be you! Just because you give someone commands with consequences doesn't mean that you are doing something moral.

You are correct just because you give someone a command that doesn't make you moral. Although God is not like us he created everything and is holy, good and has all power. Your rejection of His scriptures and misrepresenting His commands  will not excuse you of obeying them. He made you and He has a purpose for you to fulfill. Your rejection of Him is disastrous to you. God in His mercy grace and love seeks to enlighten you to reality and the danger you are in. He is holy and yet He died in order to bring you to Himself. If you refuse you will have to face His judgment and you will have no defense for yourself.

I don't have a lot of time so if you give me some time I will go over them.

Those who are His children by adobtion through the blood of christ are allowed to judge angels because he gives them authority. So not all humans will judge angels and if anyone has any authority it is given to them by God. He has not given anyone the authority to judge Him.
When Jesus got busted the authorities had a trial and he was found guilty and executed.  So it sure seems like people can judge him whenever they want to and crucify him as well.

It was all by the will of God that they did this in order that the sins of mankind could be paid for. It was also for told of. If He didn't want it to happen it wouldn't. Don't be deceived into thinking man is ultimately in control. God is in control even if some of the things that are happening he hates. He knows how to turn the evil for good.

TOP 10 REASONS Reasons why "Just Following Jesus" Doesn't work:

6) There is no way a hypothetical former human being could be capable of whispering directions into the ears of millions (billions?) of followers. That sense of connectedness to god/Jesus is something your brain is manufacturing - the same way it is manufacturing your sense of who you are apart from JC.

But when asked to describe God, we get a weird word salad that usually starts with him being immaterial and ethereal and not looking like anything. What gives? I suspect that most Christians still imagine an actual person when they think about God, even if their description of him when asked tries to hide this. I wonder how accurate I am with that. Of course I may be wrong.

I like your question. Excuse me for not answering you yesterday I had to give this one some thought. In Christianity there is the triune God, no you will not find the word trinity in the bible. So God is immaterial but Jesus has a number of times made himself material in the old testament and in the new testament he has put on flesh. God must be immaterial if he is going to be everywhere at once.

When it says we were made in a image of God I would take it as saying we are like little models of God or self portraits. We have a physical and we have a spiritual aspect of us. We have attributes that are similar to Him but on a lesser scale and some not at all. Adam and Eve were the most like him when they were sinless but now with sin in the world we have marred that image.

God the Father and God the Holy Spirit are immaterial and God the Son has a body.  When I think of God there are a number of images I have of Him and none are perfect. He is beyond what I can even fathom and He is hard to pin down because He is so totally other.

I'm not even really sure what the question is! You're suggesting, without a shred of evidence, that the laws of physics might not be  uniform. Why would they not be? Essentially, you're telling me something magical, and telling me I can't account for magic.

You're right; I can't account for magic. So I'll just go on thinking the laws of the universe are fixed and an emergent (or inherent) property of the nature of matter/energy interaction, rather than supposing that these laws had to be "set" for this particular set of properties, for some not-quite-explainable reason.

There's no accounting for magic. So now I have a counter-question for you: How do you account for werewolves? (See signature.)
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost

I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.
