If he claims to be a christian how does he get around the whole "Thou shalt not kill" thing?

The Almighty God of Freedom and Liberty will kill you if you, as an adult, have sex with another consenting adult, if the two of you are the same gender.
You know, I thought California was one of the more progressive states. How did a guy like that get elected there?

He didn't. This is just some lawyer proposing a bill. Apparently, all it takes to propose a bill in California is $200.

He should still be fired, and investigated. I wouldn't be surprised if he hasn't already started the "kill the gays" plan, and just wants to make sure it's legal before he gets caught.

Maybe this is actually what the fundies and NRA are getting at:
