Latest report is that he is sleeping peacefully and his vital signs are stable.

Waiting for the doctor to show up to check him over.

Is it okay for us to pray for Jesus to stay the fuck out of the vet's way?
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

My black lab, Harley, had something similar happen: he had a massive tumor on his spleen at the age of eleven. The vet removed his spleen, and afterwards, he lived another happy year. It was sad when he died, but I knew I did everything I could for him.

Good luck, Min. Our furry friends are our family Smile

So much so that my last one still visits in my dreams off and on.

They are keeping him for observation one more night. He comes home tomorrow.

Vets are very pleased but they want to manage his pain meds through the night one more time.

Happy! He'll be so excited to be home with his pals!
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Oh, there'll be some wagging tails in the Minimalist house tomorrow!

I daresay the dogs will be happy as well.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'
