I see what you did there lol.

That lawmaker is walking a fine line towards possibly ending her political career. She just took five gallons of crazy and tried to squeeze it into a two gallon bucket. I had to laugh when I read that article. Makes one wonder what she's been smoking.

I don't know. It seems to me if she was smoking something, she wouldn't be so batshit crazy!

"In short, Meyer has shown that his first disastrous book was not a fluke: he is capable of going into any field in which he has no training or research experience and botching it just as badly as he did molecular biology. Finally, there might be a point to those atheist "churches" I keep hearing about.

I mean, she didn't say which church to attend, did she?

I'm with Vorlon on this.

Can you imagine if the majority of the members here were required to attend religious services? We could eat popcorn, wear Groucho glasses and editorialize during the sermons. If anyone objects, just tell them, 'Look, I have to be here.'

Hard to think of a more fun way to spend a Sunday morning.

Fine. Which is closest: a satanic temple or FSM church?
...Oh, she meant christian churches? She can bite my fleshy pink ass.

Why settle for normal, when you can be so much more? Why settle for something, when you can have everything?

What I find most worrying about this is that you have people making your laws who think the only reason they're not behaving like a psychopath is because they go to church every week and have the fear of god put into them.

As I often say to these people, if you need god not to slaughter people, then please don't stop believing, for all our sakes.

Don't stop believing, but don't, under any circumstances, claim any sort of moral high ground.

It does say more about them than us if all that's keeping them from doing horrible things is the bible. Like Phil Robertson. Does he even know there's a lawyer trying to make it legal to kill gays in California? And part of the bill would be that if the state doesn't get with the program fast enough, civilians can just go out and kill people they think are gay? Why do these people think they have the moral high ground again?

hmmm...I wonder how Minifullofshitalist would handle being bound and gagged and then dragged off to a church and be forced to sit on a pew in the front row during the whole service? That shit would be youtube worthy.

You do have a point. Maybe someone should offer her a joint.

I'm just going to find a small island, make sure no one else lives there, claim it for my own and settle in.
